We started XylocoatDB because we were tired of leather jackets that fell apart after two seasons. Every piece we make is an answer to that frustration — built to outlast trends, outlast time.
It started in a 400 sq ft workshop in Lahore — just two craftsmen, a bolt of Argentine cowhide, and an obsession with doing things right. No shortcuts. No compromise on material. No rushing the stitching.
Today, we ship to over 50 countries, but the process hasn't changed. Every jacket still goes through the same 12-step quality check before it leaves our hands. We're proud of that.
The principles that guide every jacket we make.
Full-grain leather only. We've turned away cheaper materials dozens of times. The hide is everything.
Every seam is double-stitched. Every zip is YKK. Every edge is hand-burnished. No machine can replace this.
We design for a 20-year lifespan. Full-grain leather gets better with age — the patina is the feature.
30-day no-questions returns. Lifetime repair service. Free shipping on orders over $150. We stand behind our work.
Every hide is sourced from certified tanneries. We know exactly where our leather comes from. Transparency matters.
50+ countries. Fully tracked. Insured. We pack every jacket ourselves — never outsourced.
Every jacket follows the same rigorous 4-stage process. No exceptions.
We select only top-grade full-grain hides from certified Argentine and Italian tanneries. Less than 30% of each hide meets our standard.
Each pattern is hand-cut using traditional templates refined over 15+ years. Precision at this stage defines the final fit.
Double-stitched seams throughout. YKK hardware. All pockets reinforced. This stage alone takes over 40 hours per jacket.
12-point inspection: stitching, hardware, lining, symmetry, zipper function, edge finishing, and final measurements. Reject rate: ~18%.
